BASILICA MINORE DEL SANTO NIÑO DE CEBU

Sto. Niño is a representation of Jesus Christ when he was still a child. Sto. Niño has been the saint of the Cebuanos ever since it was introduced by the Spaniards. In line with this, a shrine called Basilica Minore del Santo Niño de Cebú was founded and it has been serving as the home of the image of the baby Jesus for a long time. Cebu City also have a feast for Sto. Niño every third Sunday of the month of January. The Basilica will always be filled with thousands of devotees praying, worshiping and thanking Sto. Niño for the blessings he gave to them.

Temple of Leah is one the most visited tourist spots in Cebu City. It is built out of a man's unconditional and undying love to his beloved wife. Temple of Leah is very mesmerizing especially its view since it is located at the top of the city. Although its a new attraction in the city, Cebuanos, including the foreign people, would always go there to experience the jaw-dropping view and to witness the beautiful structures built there that symbolizes love.

Mactan Shrine is a historical place yet a good tourist spot. Mactan Shrine historical to the Cebuanos especially the people living in Lapu Lapu City Cebu because it is where the battle between the Spanish explorer Ferdinand Magellan and Mactan Island chieftain Lapu-Lapu happened. The shrine is very important to the people because it symbolizes the bravery of the Cebuano men. Tourists also visit the place to know more about the history and also to experience the beautiful place.
