One of the best classic films I ever watched starring Tom hanks, well known for his great acting skills. It is all about Chuck Noland, a FedEx manager who wants that everything must be on time and travels the world to make sure punctuality is on top of everything else because they are building their reputation as a well-known courier due to that, he can’t hardly see her girlfriend and family.

While delivering their goods in a plane going overseas, they get caught in a horrendous storm which crashes somewhere in the pacific and he’s the only sole survivor that washes up to a remote island. He wakes up with nothing and the only way he can survive is by using the several fed ex packages which are washed up along with him and he must learn to survive on his own. The only thing that keep his hopes alive is a photograph of her girlfriend. luyckily he have this friend named Wilson to keep him company even though he was just football drawn with a face by his own blood. He tried several attempts on leaving the island but no luck which makes the story more interesting

After 1500 nights, he finally found a perfect opportunity to leave the island in a wooden raft he built which are strong enough to handle the vigorous waves and fortunately a vessel spotted him drifting. The final part of the story is quite sad because he comes back to civilization realizing her girlfriend who keeps him motivated all these years was already married with another man and has children.

The story tells us that we must appreciate what we have today even the little things and most especially our love ones who really means a lot to us before they’ll be gone. It shows us that everything can happen at any moment, we never know when will be our final hours therefore we must live our lives into the fullest. Prioritizing more on spending time with your family and love ones than focusing all on their career only.
