"KALAMAYAN FESTIVAL"

Victorias City in the province of Negros Occidental is celebrating its 5th  Kalamayan Festival set on December 15-25, 2018.

From the root wood “kalamay” which is the local term for “sugar.” Kalamayan Festival started in 2014. The 10-day celebration is filled with food fares and nightly activities, showcase of talents like dance and drum-beating competitions and a lot more.

When we say sugar in Negros Occidental, the City of Victorias always come to mind.
