It is one of the most renowned dish in Malaysia. It is composed of coconut rice, served with anchovy hot chili sauce, fried anchovies, fried peanut , sliced cucumber and a cooked egg either hardboiled or sunny side up. I’m fond of the combination of coconut rice and anchovy hot chili sauce because personally I really love the spicy foods. The coconut rice produces a fragrant aroma which makes you even hungrier and brings sweetness to the dish which makes it more delicious based on my tastebuds. I highly recommend this dish especially to those who loves spicy dish and those who wants to try a unique taste from Malaysia.

It is originally from India then Indian migrants brought their dish and influenced Malaysia and its neighbouring countries. It looks like a flat bread dough served with curry which Malaysian really love so much. I agree, its texture is not a presentable as any other dishes but the combination of the bread and the curry makes it appetizing and enjoyable to eat.

It is a grilled skewered chicken or beef served with savory peanut sauce. This is also famous around Malaysia and its neighbouring countries. The meat is just marinated and then grilled over a charcoal fire on stick. It has this unique taste especially when dip in the peanut sauce but the serving is quite cute and its presentation looks like a barbeque.

In English ,it means Fried rice. In Malaysia, there are different varieties of dishes you can try with nasi goreng that can be served with different combinations like chicken, beef, eggs, fish and other kinds of seafood. It is totally different from any other fried rice I tried in my country. This is what made Malaysia unique and exciting to try different cuisine.
