Kalanggaman Island is a small paradise for those beach lovers and it is located in Palompon, Leyte is famous for its stunning sandbars which stretch in both ends of the island. Kalanggaman is also considered as one of the beautiful island beaches in Philippines and it is not crowded like the other beaches. The island offers Kayaking, Snorkeling, Stand up Paddle, Banana Boat Ride and many more. You can do Stargazing after the sun goes down, witness an incredible sunset, And you can also stay overnight in the island. This is the island I recommend you the most to go with your family or friends.

Limasawa Island is in the Province of Southern Leyte it is where the first Roman Catholic mass was celebrated in the Philippines and also the Magellan's cross is located at the island. Aside from that there are 4 resorts in the island these are Dak-Dak Beach Resort, Island Lagoon Resort, Bitoon Resort and Amy Resort. In the island Cliff Jumping is the most known activity and you can explore the island by riding tricycle.

Canigao Island is one of the top summer destination in Leyte, it is located in the Municipality of Matalom. The island is famous for its white sand and crystal clear water surrounding the island. There is also a mini jungle in the island that makes it more attractive to tourist and locals, the island has more to offer like snorkeling, Stargazing, making friends while playing beach volleyball, stay in the tree house along the beach, watch a breathtaking sunset, visit the lighthouse in the middle of the island (one of the oldest lighthouse in leyte). During summer there is a party that will be held in the island and that makes it more famous than any other island leyte.
