A Little Bit About Pulau Redang
Pulau Redang located 45 km northeast of Kuala Terengganu. You have to take a ferry from Kuala Terengganu jetty located at Syahbandar Jetty. The fare price for adult is RM110 and for children is RM55.

This island is a paradise for scuba divers. It is known for the beautiful corals and the sea creatures. Be mindful not to damage the corals and take it for souvenirs.

While some parts of the beaches is cover by milky white sands and crystal clear water, there are also parts that are rocky and the shallow sapphire water are perfect for kids to play around.

If you are lucky, you might encounter the turtles. Although the most common seen in this water is green turtle, you might be able to see othe species as well. This elusive creatures have been dwindling in numbers due to our attitude towards environment. Hence keep your hands from throwing garbages into the sea.

Anyway, always keep in mind to respect the local people as well as their cultures as Melayu people are very religious and strict to their practise. However, if you wish to lay around naked on the beaches, you should better find some other places.
