The Leader that I won't forget

A leader can be anyone of us, we don't have to be rich to become a leader, we don't have to be a politician to become a leader. Leaders help themselves and others to do the right and good things. They set goals and direction, create an inspiring vision and something that is new. Leadership is about leading your team to win or to commit the goal as a team. Leaders sets direction for their team, use management skills to guide them to reach the destination in an efficient, smooth and challenging way. Leaders motivates and inspires people to reach their goal as a team.

The leader that I idolize the most is the 16th and the current President of the Philippines Rodrigo Roa Duterte or also known as Tatay Digong, Digong or Rody and he is the first President from Mindanao. President Duterte is the oldest person to assume the Philippine presidency at the age of 71. I like him because he s frank to people and he will express to people what he is feeling. President Duterte is really a true person and even if he is the President of the Philippines he still living in a simple and happy life, nothing changes in his lifestyle. He might sound and look arrogant but he's not. He utters bad words in his speeches and that's how he is.

What I like about him is he fought a lot of Drug Lords and Drug Addicts around the Philippines or also called as "War on Drugs" and plenty of drug users surrendered and went through for some seminars and giving them a second chance to change their bad habits. In Duterte's administration Philippines was changed, a lot of people stopped using drugs, criminal cases went down, corruption cases was reduced and a lot of good things happened in his administration. Duterte is determined to make the Philippine economy grow and make the it better.

For me, President Duterte is one of the great example of a leader, he leads his administration to fight those people or politician that are against him. He motivates his administration to continue doing their duty and serve Philippines. Duterte wants to change how Philippines was ruled by the previous administration and unfortunately a lot of politicians and even Filipino citizens didn't like he's plan. A true leader doesn't give up easily until he achieve his goal and arrived in his destination and that's what President Duterte is showing to the Filipinos. That is the attitude of a true leader for me and that's why he is my idol and my leader.
